RECURRING MEMBERSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS

This document is a copy of the terms and conditions all recurring monthly membership holders enter and agree to when purchasing any recurring monthly plan on the Free Bird Fitness booking system GoTeamUp. This applies to our Bronzed, Silver, Gold and Platinum options.

You can cancel any time with 60 days notice via your GoTeamUp dashboard. Once you’ve signed up, your membership will be automatically added to your user account and you can start scheduling your classes right away :)

Aside from the epic savings, additional perks you get are double your classes through December, you receive free access to open training/pole practise every week, and if you opt for silver or above, free Strength and Flexibility class each week. This membership bills on the same day every calendar month.

All recurring memberships that bill monthly are subject to the listed terms and conditions. Do read these carefully please and ensure you are fully aware before joining on a recurring membership. By going ahead with the purchase of a recurring membership (bronze, silver, gold or platinum) or the Road to Empowerment payment plan, whether at full price or a discounted rate and you are agreeing to our recurring membership terms and conditions listed below.

We ensure our classes are running as consistently as possible throughout the year with minimal closure periods over Christmas/New Year and bank holidays.

All recurring memberships and payment plans are non-transferable.

1. Minimum term

Your membership bills monthly period to period until you cancel. You can cancel your membership at any time, but you do have to give 60 days notice.

2. 60 day notice period

Recurring monthly memberships cannot be cancelled with less than 60 days notice. These are our Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum options.

3. Membership cancellation

You can conveniently cancel via the GoTeamUp account dashboard, in line with the 60 day cancellation period.

4. Cooling off period

As within your consumer rights, you have 14 days from entering a recurring membership to receiving a full refund if you change your mind. Please be aware that this does not apply to the Road to Empowerment payment plan as you are booking a course with set dates. You must notify us via email for us to action your cancellation within the cooling off period.

5. Upgrading and/or downgrading

We‘re always happy to chop and change your recurring membership as you need it and we can action these changes immediately. Please email hello@freebirdfitness.uk to downgrade or upgrade.

6. Pausing your membership

A £10 one-off admin fee is chargeable every time a membership pause is scheduled.

If you cannot attend for 28 days or more, we can pause your membership for a maximum of 3 months after which it will resume as normal.

We cannot pause your membership if you go on holiday for a week or two. Instead, please make use of the flexible nature of the bookings and schedule your sessions around your trips and commitments.

If you are not planning on returning, you must ensure to cancel with 60 days notice to your next scheduled payment date/the end of your membership pause. If you fail to give 60 days notice, a £50 cancellation fee is chargeable.

If you decide to pause your membership and do not return after the maximum period of 3 months and we do not hear from you within 7 days, a £50 cancellation fee is chargeable.

7. Recurring membership perks

By signing up to a recurring monthly plan, you get free access to open training/pole practise. This is included in your pack on all memberships and the system simply allows you to book for free.

To book your free perks, head to the booking system and select the online or open training/pole practise sesh you want to register for and go to checkout as per usual and select use membership.

We double your membership allowance free of charge every year in December for the ultimate pre-Christmas traincation.

8. Financial difficulty while on a membership

If you are experiencing financial difficulty while on a recurring plan with us, we invite you to get in touch so we can help without you having to miss payments or things getting stressful. If you miss a payment for a certain amount of time, a late payment fee may be payable via the payment processor to cover late payment charges incurred via failed payment attempts. If your payment ever bounces, please follow the instructions emailed to you automatically.

Thank you for adhering to our recurring membership payment plan terms and conditions. For a small business like Free Bird Fitness, having terms and conditions in place is what helps us exist and not go under. Without a set of rules for us as the service provider and you as the client, we cannot offer our classes as neither party know where they stand. Ensuring we have clearly stated terms and conditions in place which you agree to, means we can be a professionally run and fair business that provides the best classes possible.
