Spin Pole
Spin Pole
This fortnightly class focuses on spinning pole (yep, the pole moves!). We will focus on spin control and beautiful flowy sequences and strengthening.
Pre-requisites: You need to be able to hold your weight with your legs, so we suggest you have a few months of pole under your belt before you do this one!
FAQ’s
-
On spin pole, the pole rotates with your movement, creating a fluid, dynamic feel. Unlike static pole, where you generate momentum manually, spin pole requires control, balance, and proper engagement to regulate speed and flow.
-
It’s normal to feel dizzy at first! To manage it, focus on a fixed point (yourself or the pole!), keep movements controlled, and take breaks as needed. Over time, your body adapts, and dizziness becomes less of an issue. We teach this and more in spin pole!
-
You’ll learn how to control momentum, transition smoothly between moves, and use the pole’s rotation to enhance tricks and combos. Classes include strength-building exercises, spin techniques, and tricks to help you move with confidence and control.
